How my story began

My love for baking started quite by coincidence. While working on my MA degree project as a fashion photographer, the pandemic changed everything, studios were closed, models unavailable, and my plans had to shift completely. That’s when I decided to create a cookbook instead. I began baking every recipe myself, styling, and photographing each dessert, and that’s truly where it all began.

Since then, I’ve experimented with countless desserts, and honestly, I still don’t have a favorite. Each one feels special in its own way.

On this blog, you’ll find recipes for everyone! from simple, everyday treats that come together quickly, to more advanced bakes for those who love learning new techniques. Whether you’re a beginner who just wants to make something sweet without spending hours in the kitchen, or a passionate baker ready to take on a challenge, I hope you’ll find inspiration here to bake, learn, and most importantly, enjoy the process.

I used to shoot all my photos with a Nikon D800, but lately, I’ve been using my iPhone for both videos and pictures. It’s more convenient and gives great results with good lighting and composition.

Since I live in Riyadh, I usually buy my ingredients from regular supermarkets to make it simple or from Multaqa Al Khabazeen, which is an excellent option for advanced and professional bakers. Sometimes, I also order certain ingredients online or bring them from my travels, especially when they’re hard to find locally.

Definitely. Most of my recipes are designed to be simple and approachable, with clear steps and ingredients you can easily find. Even the more advanced ones come with detailed guidance to help you succeed on your first try.

Yes, in many cases! I try to mention substitution options in the notes or video captions. However, for some recipes like macarons or delicate cakes, I recommend following the ingredients as listed to ensure perfect results.
